Daniel Thioune Discusses Werder Bremen's Relegation Fight, Criticism, and Coaching Ambitions

Daniel Thioune, 51, Werder Bremen's head coach, initially faced challenges but has recently found success, guiding his team closer to Bundesliga safety with three wins in their last four matches. This positive turn has significantly improved the Green-Whites' league status.

Thioune spoke about the ongoing relegation fight, noting Bremen's improved position, now seven points ahead of 17th-placed Wolfsburg following a recent victory against them on Matchday 27. He also reflected on the criticism received after a difficult start to his leadership, which included three consecutive losses.
