The referee reportedly told Hoeneß he missed the incident. Hoeneß questioned why VAR did not prompt a review. However, the positive medical update means Stuttgart likely won't be without their key midfielder for long.
Stiller has started all five of VfB's competitive games this season. Stuttgart faces Borussia Dortmund next Saturday.
